Slender and efficient:
BASE LED weatherproof luminaire scores with robustness and a long lifespan
A tough outer shell and energy-saving, durable LED technology within – OEM Systems Group demonstrates with the BASE LED weatherproof luminaire how economy and energy-efficiency are brought together with a contemporary design and winning performance data. In addition to the standard(basic) configuration, high-efficiency versions are now also available.
The standard version of the LED weatherproof luminaire under the ZALUX brand offers significantly more than "just" standard, featuring luminaire efficiency of 110106 lm/W and a life time of at least 50.000 hours. BASE HE (short for 'high efficiency') goes a lot further – efficiency of 135 lm/W and at least 70,000 hours life time. With 4000 or 60005500 lm and 4000 K colour temperature, the luminaire is the ideal replacement for obsolete applications with T8 fluorescent lamps. Maximum reliability and quality of lighting are ensured by the integrated, latest-generation BAG components ranging from LED module (P or K series) to control gear unit (LCS series).
BASE is also different to many commonly available versions with its construction principle – the single-part luminaire housing made of impact-resistant, UV-stabilised polycarbonate achieves maximum reliability in combination with bonded end caps. Because opening is not required during the LED’s entire life time, tightness in compliance with an IP66 protection rating is ensured at all times. This means that this weak point of old designs is now a thing of the past. The luminaire also features IK08 impact resistance.
It is available as a single luminaire or luminaire with through-wiring for highly diverse applications with increased protection requirements, for example production bays, warehouses, corridors and stairways as well as tunnel systems, car parks and cellars. The luminaires are PWIS-free (i.e. free of paint-wetting impairment substances), making them suitable for coating lines in the automotive industry as well. They can also be used without hesitation in the food industry, as they comply with the specifications of foodstuff legislation in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 852/2004 (HACCP) Appendix II Section I No. 2 a, b Section II No. 1c for luminaires.
Compact dimensions of 67 x 78 x 640/1140/1440 millimetres (H x W x L) provide not only advantages in terms of appearance but also bring transport volume savings of around 40% – cost and distribution advantages that directly benefit OEM customers. Rapid connection with Stucchi connectors or other IP66 connections facilitate simple, time-saving installation. BASE luminaires are rapidly and flexibly mounted thanks to slidable mounting clips, and the plug & play concept enables tool-free, quick and simple installation to walls and ceilings.
