An employer that enthuses: Double victory at the Human Resources Award
Twin-pack success: BAG India has won two awards at once in the regional Employer Branding Awards of the World HRD Congress in liaison with the Indira Management Institute. Our subsidiary on the Indian subcontinent is now officially the "Best employer 2016-17", while Dr. Balasaheb Nanaware, General Manager for Human Resources at BAG India, was personally honoured with the HR Leadership Award.
The coveted awards are based on independent quality standards. Innovative personnel recruiting, development and advancement and the totality of the human resources concept, BAG India’s reputation as an employer: These are only some of the factors underlying this award for successful employer brands. Various surveys and market analyses, based completely on independent data, form the basis of the regional award presentation, now held for the eleventh time already.
"Our presence in India and Asia is based on the principles of sustainability, active personnel development and an open company and communication culture that puts the individual at the centre", emphasizes Thomas Patzelt, CEO of the OEM Systems Group, which BAG India is also part of. "We are all the more delighted by this double award, which reflects our popularity as an employer and confirms our corporate values."
A sum total of 50 companies and 25 human resource executives were presented with regional awards this year. Remarkable: Virtually all the other award winners are much larger companies/groups, with BAG India standing out in a positive manner as a medium-sized enterprise with an innovative and creative human resource strategy.
